Tucked under a hillside home in Ross California, this unique space was converted from an unfinished basement.

The owner's fantasy of ships and
travel came to life in designs reminiscent of a ship's berth, constructed entirely from hand-fitted recycled old growth Cypress.

The structural column (abstracted
into a ship's mast) frames what is essentially a Pullman's galley containing sink, microwave, coffee maker, medicine cabinet and personal items... all behind closed doors.

A strong japanese influence blends with ship worthy detailing into a compartment of strong design and extreme efficiency.
